Mr BC the Cat needs a home
HISTORY: MR. BC was rescued by a kind person who had him neutered under the Gatos program, and found him to be quite tame, so he was transferred to Felines & Friends when found to be FIV+. However, as is typical with many FIV+ cats he has no symptoms, is in excellent health and expected to live a normal lifespan. While conventional thinking is to only place an FIV+ cat in a home with no other cats or with another FIV+ cat, there are many “mixed households”. According to Cornell University, the primary mode of Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) transmission is through repeated fights resulting in the exchange of blood, and it poses no threat to humans or other species. TEMPERAMENT: MR. BC is still a bit shy but loves to sit on his rescuer's lap, and is acclimating nicely to his new foster home with the help of his friend HITA 2. MR. BC is a handsome boy with a short black coat and a clipped ear.
